Based on load capacity, it can be categorized into three types: lightweight, medium-weight, and heavy-duty. According to structural design, it can be divided into single-sided cantilever racks and double-sided cantilever racks.

Heavy duty shelving is the most commonly used type of shelving, with a load-bearing capacity of over 500kg per layer, hence the name. It has good picking efficiency and can store heavier items, but the storage density is low. Heavy duty shelving, also known as pallet shelving, has the characteristics of high load-bearing capacity, wide height adaptability, mechanical access, and high selection efficiency, but the space utilization rate is generally average. Widely used in manufacturing, third-party logistics, and distribution centers, it is suitable for both multi variety small batch items and small variety large batch items. This type of shelf is most commonly used in high-level warehouses and super high-level warehouses (most shelves in automated three-dimensional warehouses use this type of shelf).
