Medium-sized storage racks (commonly referred to as mid-tier racks in the industry) typically denote palletized shelving systems with a load capacity of 200-300kg, primarily designed for manual storage and retrieval. However, many generic white-label racks on the market often only achieve a superficial resemblance: thin uprights, poor hole positioning accuracy, and lack of reinforcing ribs in the shelf plates. The distinguishing feature of Shibang mid-tier racks lies in their structural calculations and process-controlled complete storage solutions:
Butterfly hole precision punching: The vertical column adopts automatic mechanical punching for butterfly holes, with well-controlled hole position tolerances. During crossbeam mounting, there is a clear positioning feel and locking sound, ensuring minimal loosening even after repeated adjustments.

High-frequency picking area (waistline height 0.6-1.5m): Reduce the spacing between shelves appropriately, increase the number of shelf layers, and store boxes or parts with high SKU volume and frequent breakage to minimize bending and reaching.
Medium to Low Frequency Storage Area (Upper and Elevated Zones): Increase the shelf spacing, reduce the number of shelf boards or use full sheets of steel shelf boards, and store whole pallets or large-sized materials.
Span and depth matching: For manual access, the recommended span is ≤2.5m and depth ≤1m. If heavy metal components are placed and the span exceeds 2m, a beam-type structure should be used instead of a beamless type to ensure long-term load-bearing stability.
Reserve safety margin: The plan is to place 300kg per layer, and it is recommended to choose a configuration with a nominal load capacity of 360kg or more to avoid plastic deformation caused by long-term full load.
Channel and collision prevention: For manual picking channels, it is recommended to be ≥ 0.8-1m; if hydraulic trucks or a small number of forklifts enter, leave sufficient width in the main channel and install collision prevention corner protectors at the front end of the column.
Surface and lifespan: After acid pickling and phosphating, the medium-sized shelves of Shibang are electrostatically sprayed with plastic, which has strong coating adhesion and corrosion resistance. Compared with white label shelves that only do ordinary painting, they have a longer service life in humid or dusty environments.
